Learn About Cal-Flo

Cal-Flo™  is a calcium and multi-mineral supplement.

We formulated this product to provide people with a superior source of calcium and minerals.  Cal-Flo™ uses Mineral Transport Systems (MTS™) to provide optimum absorption, we use a soft-gel which provides up to 95 % absorption rate vs. 5-10 % when using tablets. We use omega fatty acids along with mid-chain triglycerides to enhance mineral absorption. Cal-Flo™ contains no artificial binders and uses only natural colors.

Listed below are a few of the functions of calcium in our bodies:

       Helps to maintain bone density

       Transmission of nerve impulses

Calcium helps to maintain healthy connective tissue

       Essential for blood clotting

       Assists the body's metabolic function

       Promotes enzyme stimulation

Reduces bone loss in post-menopausal women

       Helps to prevent colon cancer

       Helps to lower blood pressure

       Cal-Flo™ also helps greatly with the following health challenges;

                1. Osteoarthritis

                2. Osteoporosis

                3. PMS

                4. Hypertension

Cal-Flo™  took years of research and significant resources to create the first product ever to use it’s container, a soft-gel, as part of the active ingredients.  Pharmaceutical soft-gels are generally made of a petroleum based substances, like polyglycol, which is similar to anti-freeze.  Cla-Flo’s soft-gel is all natural and active, making all other soft-gels antiquated technology.  In fact, most soft-gel makers are unable to produce this highly advanced formulation.

Cal-Flo FAQ

1.  Why is Cal-Flo different than other calcium products?

Cal-Flo is the first and only multi-mineral product to incorporate mineral transporters to actively deliver minerals to the bone. Mineral transporters are similar to vitamin precursors in that they assist   in getting the minerals to the bone.

2.  I can’t swallow a big capsule. Can I just drink the liquid inside a Cal-Flo capsule?

Because the unique Cal-Flo capsule itself contains active ingredients that help deliver minerals to your bones, you can bite the capsule and chew it until you are able to swallow the capsule.  Because there is nothing artificial in Cal-Flo, the capsule has a plain flavor and takes about a minute to chew up and swallow.  Cal-Flo is the only product to have active ingredients in its capsule.  Most capsules are made of animal or vegetable gelatin.  Pharmaceuticals often use petroleum based capsules or softgels.  Cal-Flo is an all natural, food based, softgel capsule.

3.  Is Cal-Flo absorbed better than other calcium tablets?

Cal-Flo’s calcium and minerals are absorbed significantly better than typical calcium tablets because the minerals are in a liquid form.  Second, mineral transporters in the liquid and in the capsule deliver the minerals more effectively into bone. There is no other product including by prescription, which can do this.

4.  Are there studies to prove it works?

The FDA has many studies that show calcium and minerals are needed for bone density.  Minerals have been used by U.S. physicians for well over 100 years to build strong bones.  Studies show liquid minerals are better absorbed than tablets.  Cal-Flo bone scan studies have demonstrated increased bone mass.  Cal-Flo is American made and tested for purity and bioavailability and meets or exceeds all FDA standards.

5.  Who should use Cal-Flo?

Anyone at risk of osteoporosis or osteopenia should be using Cal-Flo daily.  Those adults with documented osteoporosis, osteopenia, or bone fracture without trauma should be on Cal-Flo three times per day.  Anyone with a fractured bone should be using Cal-Flo to help knit the bone. Runners and individuals whose bones and joints are under significant stress need Cal-Flo.

6.  Cal-Flo has vitamin K in it and I am on blood thinner, can I use it safely?

Yes, you can!!!  There are 7 micrograms of vitamin K in one Cal-Flo capsule.  There are 250 micrograms of vitamin K in one serving (1 cup) of carrots.  You could eat ten cups of carrots in one meal and still not cause problems with your blood thinner.  Remember that fruits and vegetables have large quantities of vitamin K and no one suggests limiting those foods.

7.  There is no iron in Cal-Flo, don’t I need iron?

Adults should not be using iron supplements unless they are anemic. Iron can cause heart problems in some individuals. Ferrous iron supplements are poorly absorbed and can cause many serious side effects.   Iron extracted from vegetables and liver concentrate are more effective and safe. Iron also inhibits calcium absorption.
